The American People’s Exposure To The Communist Plague

From an epidemiological perspective, communism is a highly infectious and invasive bio-social disease.  It functions like a virus (antigen) to destroy the population of a nation from within by attacking people’s emotional lives and their ability to work freely without external constraints.   Americans today are at great risk of having their country destroyed by the communist threat organized by the ideologues of the Obama Administration, primarily because they are unaware that any real threat exists.  The situation is comparable to an infectious medical condition in which the organism is unable to respond by forming a defense (antibodies) through its  immune system to the threat to its life.  For this reaction to occur in the social realm there has to be a state of underlying public alarm and anxiety.  From a biophysical standpoint this would correspond to a general state of emotional contraction in the population.

But no such condition exists!  To the contrary, the general population in America today is in a chronic state of over expansion.  People are self-complacent, self-indulgent and, in varying degrees they are distracted by every kind of substitute interest at the expense of seeing the real danger to America happening right in front of their eyes. These distractions are exploited for profit by the leftist infiltrated media and entertainment industries to give the appearance that everything is status quo so that the communist plague can continue unnoticed by everyone.

This headlong descent into socialism will continue into the foreseeable future.  It will partially reverse only when a major contraction grips the whole of society accompanied by the emotion of fear or terror.  A shock wave of this magnitude is necessary to override the soporific effect of the media on people and to bring the masses to their senses, taking them out of their chronic state of obliviousness.  Hopefully, at that point the immunization process against the communist plague can take hold before America has been completely destroyed.

Welcome To Democracy In The Middle East

In his article, “A Bleak Anniversary for the Arab Spring” Thane  Rosenbaum writes  in The Wall Street Journal  January 28, 2013 that while the Arab Spring may have ended the regimes of secular strongmen in many Muslim countries throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the Persian Gulf, these changes have not  brought about the desired central features of a democratic society in any of them.

The question that is never asked is how can Muslim people who have lived under extreme authoritarian rule for centuries be expected to function overnight in any way similar to people living in a modern Western style democracy?  This question, which goes to the heart of the emotional sickness of human beings, lies outside the framework of current medical and sociological thinking.  Without recognizing the emotional sickness resulting from individual and social armor that prevents people from being able to regulate their lives and function freely and responsibly in a democratic society it is not possible to understand why all Arab Spring movements must fail.

Without knowing the answer, the author does touch on this inability of people living in Muslim countries to establish a democratic society.  He finds that the only thing that Muslims in the Arab world seem to be capable of achieving is a limited, short term goal,  to free themselves of their current oppressor.  This myopic vision of the world is, in fact, an indication of the severity of the ocular armor of the masses in the Muslim world, the biophysical condition that prevents them from being able to see and find the way out of their current trapped existence.

A Prime Example Of The Emotional Plague: The War On Drugs

A sure sign that one is dealing with the emotional plague is that you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t.  How this relates to  the drug problem is that you are wrong if you legalize drugs and worse if you don’t.  In the past authoritarian era, children and adolescents were more likely than not to listen to authority figures.  Their rebelliousness was restrained by their muscular and character armor.  Because of the destruction of the authoritarian family, children and adolescents in today’s society are often likely to act out their rebelliousness in a subversive manner with no regard to the destructive consequences on their lives, convinced they “know it all.”  With no respected authority figure to listen to, they are in constant danger of becoming attracted to the drug culture.

Those in the drug culture, users and traffickers alike, are infected with an emotional disease, a socio-economically based medical condition that is in no way different from any other highly infectious and communicable disease.  The drug problem cannot be viewed simply as a war against an external enemy.  The tendency to use and profit from drugs, the “enemy,” resides and can erupt from within anyone, particularly young people.  They are at risk because of their strong tendency to be rebellious, their need to “fit in” and for financial gain. Therefore, their problems must be addressed non-judgementally from the perspective of the medical epidemiologist as an endemic, emotionally based medical disease of sick human beings.

The drug problem is as much a problem of the families of addicts and the social institutions that are dealing with it as it is of the users and the traffickers.  The first step in addressing the drug problem is to educate the public.  The reason that people use street drugs, including marijuana, is to help stop experiencing their painful emotions and feelings and/or to replace them with pleasurable (euphoric) ones.  Users must be treated with the knowledge that they are emotionally sick people that  must rely on drugs for relief.  Those who genuinely want help to face their painful feelings must be treated with this knowledge by skilled mental health professionals who are emotionally healthy themselves so that they do not fall into the trap of being judgmental.  The public must be able to think functionally, not moralistically.

Hardened drug traffickers are highly destructive sick people who profit criminally from the emotional sickness of other sick humans.  They must be sequestered in prison.  From a functional perspective, prisons exist to sequester individuals from society who are unable to contain the expression of their secondary destructive drives from within.  They therefore require external restraint (armor) in the form of incarceration.

Seeing the drug user as suffering from a medically based social illness not from a moral perspective as someone that requires to be punished, will help to remove its stigma.  This view places the magnitude of the drug problem in proper perspective.  It will be a long drawn out process of education and application of new knowledge on all social levels before this destructive manifestation of the emotional plague is reversed. (See “The War on Drugs: America’s Second Civil War” in my book, The Emotional Plague.)

The State Of America’s Economic Health

An indication of America’s economic health is seen in it’s ability to function as a free, self-regulated market. However, in our increasingly armored society a free market economy can only be an ideal. What must be generally understood and accepted is that America’s economic health ultimately depends on the American people’s state of emotional health. The biological capacity for independent and responsible work functioning of the American people is the essential element of emotional health required for a healthy economy. That being said, the degree of America’s economic health versus it’s sickness depends on the following factors:

1) The degree to which emotionally helpless people who are nevertheless able-bodied become dependent on the Federal Government for their survival.

2) The degree to which the Federal Government encourages the public to be dependent on it and dictates them to be controlled (“regulated”) by it.

3) The degree to which the free market becomes disrupted and paralyzed by armored people’s criminal and quasi-criminal activity in the marketplace.

These symptoms of  the American people’s emotional illness directly result in the pathological manifestations of today’s economy.  The capacity of people to tolerate having a genuinely healthy free market economy depends entirely on the capacity of individuals to tolerate being emotionally healthy and responsibly free.  We are farther than ever from attaining this economic state.  The public’s increasing  emotional sickness makes greater control of the marketplace by the Federal Government necessary.

Before any real improvement can occur in economic conditions, the emotional sickness of people that interfere with a free market  economy must first be recognized and addressed outside the political arena.  This is not a political matter and the political battles between the Left and the Right have nothing to do with the underlying emotionally based economic problems.  They only function to conceal them and make things worse. That is, they are a manifestation of the emotional plague.

Articles on functional economics can be found in recent issues of the Journal of Orgonomy.

Communism American Style

Communism /pseudo-liberalism is the greatest danger of the emotional plague to the Western World from within.  Islamism is the greatest danger to it from the outside.  Today’s communists have developed the capacity to largely imitate the appearance of their environment.  Like the cuttlefish, they can take on any image of their surroundings thereby  concealing their true identity.  This ability to simulate is why they do not present themselves as the typical sinister looking fringe elements that they were associated with a generation ago.  In fact, the more inconspicuous they can make themselves, the more “Americanized” they look, the more effective they are in destroying their American victims from within, so therefore, camouflage is one of their primary methods of defense.  Since they have taken on the facade of an honest-to-goodness true liberal American and refer to themselves as “progressives,” it would be more accurate to describe today’s communists as pseudo-liberals.

Today’s pseudo-liberals belonging to the American Democratic Party function in exactly the same manner as did Communist Party members in the Soviet Union.  Like old time communists, the function of pseudo-liberals in politics is to take control of the government, deny whatever freedoms that exist  and ultimately turn America into a Soviet Style dictatorship.  It is not a matter of conscious choice for them.  Like the cuttlefish, pseudo-liberals have a structural compulsion to behave in this manner.  It is not in their power to function otherwise.

Why Can’t Some People See Barack Obama’s Threat To America?

The answer is simply that these people literally cannot see what is right in front of their eyes.  As if that was not bad enough they do not perceive that they can’t see.  Instead of using their eyes to see the outside world as it really is, they rely on their inner emotions and sensations as a substitute, replacing personal belief about Obama for reality.  On the other hand, typical of any pseudo-liberal/communist ideologue, Obama is highly skilled at pretending to be a loyal American, someone who he is not.

In my clinical work as a medical and social orgonomist, I have found that these substitute internally generated positive feelings about Barack Obama originate from two sources:

They are either the result of a fear of recognizing the hatred and feelings of revenge that Obama harbors toward  America and the American way of life or they are the result of a wish or a hope that some kind of government handout will be given to them.  (Remember that Obama panders to the public’s longing for “freedom” and “hope”).  These are defensive attitudes  on the public’s part that leaves it  feeling complacent and with a false sense of security about social conditions.  Then there is a third group of people, mostly Black Americans, who identify with Obama’s blackness and mindlessly support him simply because of his skin color.

The reason that people cannot see  evil when it is right in front of their eyes is because their eyes do not function the way nature intended them to.  Very early in most people’s lives, as a result of their upbringing, their eyes have been traumatized in one way or another, either by emotional or by physical insults.  Their eyes have become armored and this is why they cannot see things in the world as they are and why they must distort reality.

The consequences of these early ocular insults on both the individual and on society can be disastrous.  This is once more the case, as in 2008 of the relationship between Barack Obama and the voting public that is about to play out in November 2012.

Ocular armor is a poorly recognized, prevalent medical condition induced by harmful environmental practices on children such as poor emotional contact between mother and infant, noxious  chemicals being placed in the infant’s eyes at birth, harsh mechanical stimuli bombarding the infants senses and so on.  In addition to destructive effects on the individual’s personal life, ocular armor has serious environmental consequences as well. The widespread social and political irrationality that is constantly upon us is only one example of people’s ocular armor.

Communism/Socialism Is A Cancer Of The Social Body

In articles written in the Journal of Orgonomy ( Vol. 20 Nos. 1,2) entitled Cancer and Communism, I show that from a functional perspective  individuals and  societies are  biological systems and that  cancer in an individual living system is functionally identical to communism/socialism in a social system. This  identical relationship of cancer to communism  (including socialism) is valid from a bio-energetic standpoint since both conditions are examples of diseased biological systems that are in a process of bio-energetic decay and disintegration. Communism is in a more advanced state of decay than socialism.

Cancer is a systemic disease involving the whole organism.  The cancer tumor is a local symptom of the disease.  Similarly, communism/ socialism is a disease of the entire society. The various social manifestations are superficial symptoms of a diseased society.  In the cancer disease, the cancer tumor through its vascular supply continually draws off  energy from what remains alive of the healthy part of the organism eventually killing the host.  The exact same parasitic process occurs in the case of communism and of socialism in America today where people who are in need of the government for their survival including most of the public sector feed off of the productive labor of those in the private sector who are the life blood of the economy.

The strategy of today’s pseudo-liberal\communists is to  undermine people’s independence in every possible way and to foster economic dependency on the government.  For example, every one of President Obama’s socialist policies such as waiving college students loans, unionizing and increasing the number of public sector  employees, encouraging disgruntled youths to riot by supporting their rebellious social “causes” (i.e. the Occupy Wall Street movement), providing extended welfare care for the able bodied unemployed, and so on, function to worsen people’s already disturbed biological work function.

This strategy is in the service of weakening the working power of individuals and of increasing power of the Federal Government and ultimately destroying the heathy American social system that the “social cancer” feeds on.  When this happens, no one will understand how this once great nation was destroyed just as no one today understands the true cause of the cancer disease.

Biological Comprehension Requires Functional Thinking

Mechanistic thinking in biology always makes a secondary or tertiary biological process the primary factor.  Consider the latest “discovery” in biology  that claims that a single molecule, the hormone oxytocin, is at the center of our moral lives. In his new book, “The Moral Molecule” Paul J. Zak asserts that the presence or the absence of this molecule in the blood stream is the reason that some people are caring and generous while others are cruel and greedy.  Typical of the way mechanists think, he goes on in mystical fashion to propose that this new science of morality can be used to create a more virtuous society.  He writes, “If you detect the makings of an endless loop that can feed back onto itself, creating what might be called a virtuous circuit- and ultimately a more virtuous society- you are getting the idea.” (See The Truest Molecule by Paul J. Zak, The Wall Street Journal, April 28-29 2012).

This kind of thinking about biological processes is downright destructive not only because it leads nowhere but also because it generates more mystical distortions and confusion in biology.  It is another manifestation of the emotional plague in natural science.

From a functional-energetic perspective, all living organism’s pulsate.  Their biological  orgone energy expands out to the world with pleasurable stimuli and it contracts away from the world with painful or noxious stimuli.  Pulsation is a primary biological function and it is anchored structurally in the organism’s plasmatic system which includes the autonomic nervous system, the vascular system, endocrine system and the immune system.  These systems are responsible for maintaining all the life functions of the organism.  It is true that the hormone oxytocin is elevated in functions that involve expansive or pleasurable activities of the organism.  However, the expansive function of biological orgone energy is primary and is what determines the blood levels of oxytocin.  Taking a secondary function, oxytocin, and attributing a primary importance to it is an evasion of recognizing the primary orgonotic functions that are the foundation of life.

The Role Of Armor In Speech Impediments

Mechanistic neurology incorrectly ascribes the speech function exclusively to certain local areas in the brain, the so-called speech centers on the cerebral cortex.  From a functional perspective, however, we understand that these speech centers function only to integrate impulses entering and leaving the brain from and to the tissues and organs contained in the thoracic, cervical and oral segments that are involved with the speech function.

Sigmund Freud, who was a highly skilled and respected neurologist before launching into psychoanalysis, came to the same conclusion as a result of his investigations into brain pathophysiology in patients suffering from aphasia.  Contrary to what was popularly believed by neurologists at that time, he demonstrated that individual words were not localized in the brain.  In the conclusion to his monograph, On Aphasia written in 1891 he writes, “the significance of the factor of [speech] localization for aphasia has been overrated, and that we should be well advised once again to concern ourselves with the functional states  of the apparatus of speech.”  Freud had first to scientifically satisfy himself of the inadequacies of the mechanistic approach to the psychology of speech before introducing psychoanalysis and free association to the world. The significance of this important contribution by Freud to the history of science is overlooked by everyone.

The next important step in understanding disturbances in the speech function also came from the realm of pathology.  Clinical experience with patients in medical orgone therapy  who have certain speech impediments such as spastic dysphonia and stuttering revealed that when muscular armor is removed from the segments involved in speech by expressing the anger in therapy that was being held in those muscles, the speech disturbance was permanently eliminated.  Thus, the presence of  body armor was found to be an important factor in producing these symptoms.

Therefore, the integration of organ sensations of the speech apparatus from the thoracic (respiration), cervical (vocalization), oral (articulation)  and ocular (comprehension) segments by the brain must be the the sources of the speech function.  Armor results in a disturbance in the integration of these organ sensations.

One is reminded of the motion picture, The Kings Speech, which accurately depicts a stutterer who is clearly portrayed as having severe oral and cervical armor. When he is provoked to anger, his stuttering temporarily disappears.  The discharge of emotional energy accompanying the expression of  anger that is bound up in the armored organs of articulation (vocal cords, facial  muscles, tongue etc.) momentarily eliminates the speech problem.

People’s Difficulty In Recognizing The Emotional Plague

People’s inability to recognize the existence of the emotional plague as a highly destructive and contagious medical disease is related to the fact that there is currently no scientific knowledge of the bio-emotional forces that govern human social life.

What must be known and understood is that differences in human armor produce differences in the way the emotional plague is misperceived and misunderstood. These differences correspond in a general way to the pattern of armor of people belonging on the left and right of the socio-political spectrum. Those on the left (liberals) live mainly in their superficial layer or facade. For them, the idea of the emotional plague is meaningless because the function of the liberal’s facade is to defend them from being aware of their destructive, middle layer (from where the emotional plague originates) and so the plague does not seem to exist for them.  (The liberal’s unawareness of the plague is partly why they are an effective tool that leftist radicals can use at will to carry out their destructive social agendas.)  Those on the right (conservatives) have better contact with their middle layer and their core. For conservatives, the idea of the emotional plague is real but it is perceived in a distorted form.  They view the plague not as a true medical disease but as a moral human failing.  They think of it in terms of “good” and “bad” human behavior and that the illness can be addressed by rational political dialogue.  However, the plague is not good or bad.  It cannot be stopped by political means.  Like any other medical disease, the plague is embedded in the biophysical structure of plague-ridden people.  The farther they are to the right of center, the more righteous and irrational are their thoughts about the plague.  This view of the plague is worthless from a therapeutic standpoint since a moralistic or righteous approach can never be used to combat a contagious medical condition.  (It is reminiscent of the irrationally fearful ways some contagious medical diseases, such as leprosy, syphilis and the bubonic plague, were treated before the modern era in medicine.)

Humanity cannot possibly come to grips with the emotional plague and recognize it as a deadly medical illness because their armor prevents people from seeing and thinking without distortion about problems in their individual and social lives.  This is why the disease will  remain a mystery and continue to ravage society until a sufficient number of  qualified social scientists appear on the scene who can take an honest look at themselves and deal with the emotional plague as a true medical illness.
