The Final Stage in the Destruction of Psychiatry: Eliminate Diagnosis

The once highly respected specialty of American psychiatry is being destroyed by the emotional plague in the following stages:

Stage 1. It first started with the destruction of Sigmund Freud’s reputation as a psychiatric pioneer. Entire books were written in the 1960s in a campaign to discredit his clinical discoveries.

Stage 2. Now it was possible to reject his psychological theories of the libido and of the importance of the psychosexual factors in human emotional development.

Stage 3. These important theories were replaced with diagnostic manuals such as the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association. They were seemingly objective attempts to provide a common diagnostic language for psychiatrists based strictly on the patient’s symptoms.

Stage 4. The symptom based system could not work because any symptom can be a part of in any diagnostic category. However, it now became possible for the psychiatric researcher to declare that the DSM system is “scientifically meaningless” and to recommend that mental health professionals should “think beyond diagnosis and consider other explanations of mental distress, such as trauma and other adverse experiences.” These vague recommendations to understand psychiatric disorders were enough to reveal their uselessness. It was the final step in the rejection of psychiatry as a legitimate medical discipline.

Recognizing the importance of emotional disturbances in psychosexual development is the only way that it is possible to have a legitimate psychiatric diagnostic system. The result of rejecting the crucial importance of these psychosexual factors is that the psychiatrist is left in limbo. Having no framework for understanding the patient’s pathology in a physical manner, the science of psychiatry, in effect, is now becoming extinct.

The Elephant in the Room

One of the most obvious social phenomenon that is in front of everyone’s eyes and that no-one sees…the elephant in the room…is the transformation of Western Society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian that began around 1960. All of a sudden, human authority that had functioned for thousands of years as an organizing force responsible for maintaining and perpetuating Western civilization became a “problem” that had to be destroyed. Before this could be accomplished, the central authority figures that first had to be eliminated were its male leaders on all social levels. These we’re the ones who had the power of enforcing the sexual suppression of the authoritarian, moral code. Eliminating sexual suppression and demanding the sexual freedom of young people were believed to be the final “solutions” to humanities problems. This was behind the “sexual revolution” of the 60s. As a result of this colossal blunder all hell broke loose.

The social transformation that resulted is the background for the rise in almost all of the destructive social changes that have occurred since that time. The most important of these was the disintegration of the authoritarian family, the foundation of the authoritarian order. This social catastrophe has spawned all the other pathological social symptoms of our society. These include the public mystically looking for answers for the problems of society through politics, the rise in psychopathic and criminal activity of far-left politicians, the rise in drug related fatalities, the inability of young adults to take care of themselves as seen most dramatically in the increase in the homeless population nationwide and the general deterioration of society etc.

All of these and other symptoms of the social pathology of the transformation continue to remain enigmatic because people do not have the functional tools of social orgonomy to understand them. Knowledge of the social forces underlying the transformation and why society was transformed from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian in the first place are necessary steps that must be taken before any functional knowledge can be applied to prevent further social decline.

On Handling the Problem of the Invaders

America must be prepared to deal forcefully with the attempt at invasion of it’s southern border by unruly mobs on the ideological as well as on the military fronts. The invader’s obvious strategy is to incite an aggressive American response to defend itself at it’s border and use that act, with the help of the leftist media, to distort the incident into a hostile act of violence against the immigrants. Their tactic is to turn the confrontation into a mass sadomasochistic interaction between the “sadistic” American aggressors who are unfairly treating the poor, “suffering” immigrant “victims”.
This is a typical leftist revolutionary formula that has been perfected and used dozens of times from the New Left movements from the 60s to the present often through members of the Democratic Party. Called the Alinsky method, it’s function is to undermine the system in power and then see what happens. It is governed by the single principle to take political control from the Haves and give it to the Have-nots. This amounts to a destructive assault on the established order in the name of social progress.

The population that is most likely to be duped by this ruse are well-to-do, American liberals including the leftist media. Because of their free-floating guilt, a form of pleasure anxiety, which is reinforced by their being economically well off and living as they please in a free country, these groups look favorably and sympathetically on the poverty stricken foreign invaders. If there is a violent confrontation at the border, the American defenders of the border will be the ones that are blamed by them and the incident will be twisted into a victory for the Have-not provocateurs. This flaw in the true liberal’s outlook is exploited aggressively by anti-American pseudo-liberal/communists on the extreme left for their own destructive political ends.

Politics is a Symptom not a Disease

Politics is a symptom of armored people’s inability to accurately see the world and to act accordingly. This is an ocular, bio-psychiatric problem and the underlying reason for people’s politically based increasing frustration and hostility toward one another.

In today’s anti-authoritarian society, politics is highly antagonistic and a symptom of armored people’s having become polarized into two, antithetical political groups consisting of liberals in the Democratic Party and conservatives in the Republican Party, and their viewing the same world from entirely different, ideologically driven perspectives.

In the past authoritarian era, prior to 1960, there were fairly equal numbers of liberals and conservatives in both parties and the the political forces within them kept each other in check. However, the infiltration of leftist extremists into the Democratic Party during the intervening years and the shift to the left in the political mainstream brought about the polarization of the two party system and today’s highly volatile political situation.
The danger facing America today is that the tried and true solutions of the past offered by conservative are insufficient to oppose the political agendas of liberal extremists that are designed to destroy the American nation.

A functional understanding of what is happening in our world provided by social orgonomy is urgently needed. For example, before any improvement can happen in social conditions a clear distinction must be made between the true liberal character, a politically benign individual, and the pseudo-liberal/communist character who is not liberal at all but an emotional plague character that has infiltrated and taken over the Democratic Party. This vital knowledge is currently being made available to the public by members of the American College of Orgonomy’s training program in social orgonomy.

“Never do it the political way!”

These were Wilhelm Reich’s words regarding past attempts to improve social conditions through politics. He continues:

“People will get very enthusiastic about it. They will glow. They will burn for you. But their structures won’t follow. Their character structures can’t follow. Then you are in trouble… This discrepancy between what a human being wants, what he dreams of, what he intellectually understands as true and good and what he actually can do, i.e., what his structure, the character structure, really permits him to do, is quite a problem…It is also the gap where religion comes in with the idea of paradise.”

Today, in our anti-authoritarian society, people are being deprived of their illusory hopes in religion as it is being replaced by the a secularized, intellectualized version of it in the form of socio-politics. They are losing whatever contact that they had with themselves at the time when their emotions were tied in to their personal and religious beliefs. Today, people are more out of touch with themselves and their world than they were in the past authoritarian era.

Now more than ever, a functional understanding of what is happening to our society is vital to prevent further degradation. This knowledge is being made available through a lecture series on Social Orgonomy open to the public given by the American College of Orgonomy.

Why is Trump Viciously Hated by the Far Left?

When Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election in 2016, her supporters on the left were in a state of emotional shock and disbelief. With eight years of the Obama administration behind them, their timetable of what they had planned for America’s future was almost a reality and now that illusion was shattered, at least temporarily. They soon recovered their senses, reorganized and directed their attacks on Donald Trump for what he stands for, a strong authority that wants to protect America from the anti-authoritarian left’s progressively destructive agenda.
Are All People on the political left anti-authoritarian?
No. People to the left of the political center are true liberals. In distinction to the pseudo-liberal/communists who are farther to the left, the true liberal stands for individual authority, has physical aggression at his disposal and is pro-American. However, because of less contact with his biological core the true liberal is blinded to the destructiveness of those who are on the extreme left and becomes their handmaidens. True liberals are Lenin’s “useful idiots”.This distinction between the true liberal and the pseudo-liberal/communist requires an understanding of socio-political characterology necessary if any sense is to be made of social processes and political events.

Character Trumps Everything

If there is one thing to understand from social orgonomy it is that a person’s individual and socio-political character types determine all of his social thinking and behavior.
President Trump is most likely a high energy phallic narcissistic character with an oral unsatisfied block. Politically, he is a populist with a conservative character structure.
Knowledge of Trump’s individual and socio-political character types is sufficient to understand his presidential functioning from a clinical, bio-psychiatric perspective. It counteracts getting caught up in personally motivated pros and cons about him and in politically biased moral judgements.
To complicate matters, because of his high energy level, his oral unsatisfied block, his populist need to be loved by everyone and his conservative character structure, he is a contentious person who cannot constrain himself from getting involved in fights including with people he needs to be able to work productively with.
Seeming to thrive on controversy and easily provoked, he gives his opponents every opportunity to enter into inconsequential political distractions on a daily basis. This is the wasteland of partisan politics, a symptom of America’s polarized and increasingly clueless society.

What is Happening With President Trump? Round Two.

To explain Trump’s post-election behavior as president requires an understanding of his individual character structure. Displaying the features of a phallic narcissistic character with an oral unsatisfied block, he functioned in the business world as a highly successful businessman. As a business leader he was used to being top dog and playing by his own rules. He was able to act aggressively and get things done in the world of business.
However, in his new, unfamiliar world of partisan politics, he is not in charge of his environment in the way he was at home in business. He has difficulty playing by the new rules of politics and getting his political agenda off the ground. In addition, because he is touchy, he becomes frustrated and plays into the hands of his opponents by reacting in a defensive manner when his policies are threatened.
This is a typical feature of people with his character type. His high energy, phallic narcissistic structure leads him to react defensively with poorly directed aggressive attacks blaming others for things gone wrong. Additionally, his oral unsatisfied block leads to loose talking and his defensive whining and complaining like a big baby about how poorly he is being treated by his critics. These self-destructive displays of bad behavior do no credit to him, the presidency or to the nation.

Welcome to the World of Islam

As long as the authoritarian social order in the Western World was intact (prior to around 1960), the Muslim world in the Mideast remained at peace with itself and lived harmoniously with the Non-Muslim world.

The Soviet Union’s invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 brought this to an end as the godless ideology of communism encountered the devoutly religious, strictly authoritarian Muslim world. American leaders entered into a quasi military alliance with Muslim Afghan leaders, like Osama bin Laden, who was believed at the time to be friendly toward America, for the purpose of ridding the country of the Soviets. America’s invasion of Iraq with the objective of eliminating the tyrant, Saddam Hussein, was another military operation that exacerbated social unrest of Mideast countries.

However, more fundamental than these military incursions was the cultural invasion by Western anti-authoritarian life and the impact that it had on people’s lives in the Mideast. Today’s “anything goes” Western society functions as a chronic, emotional irritant to the sexually repressed people of the Muslim population. To make matters worse, people in the West are clueless about the effect that their unconstrained, “free” ways of living have on repressed cultures worldwide. Therefore, without an understanding of the reasons for the transformation of Western society it is impossible to know what is currently happening in the Mideast and why the cultural clash between the two worlds had to happen.

In the West, the shift of the socio-political spectrum to the left resulted in the breakdown of social order and it’s traditional ways of living, particularly in the loosening of its sexual mores. This leftward shift gradually spread and triggered social unrest globally.

The majority of people in the Muslim World belong characterologically in varying degrees to the far right of center. Therefore, the permissive, anti-authoritarian attitudes of Western people on the political left was more intolerable, provocative and shocking to the Muslim people than it was even to other conservative Westerners.

The anti-authoritarian transformation also had a powerful destabilizing effect on the politics of Islamic nations. In some countries (Egypt and Libya), thanks to the Arab Spring, rigid authoritarian governments were toppled domino-like only to be replaced by new regimes of the same kind or worse, while in others (Syria and Iran) the states that had been created during the authoritarian, Colonial period were reorganized largely according to totalitarian lines.
The widespread undoing of Muslim societies in the Mideast brought a flood of Arab immigrants into Europe and America many of whom came from broken homes. The social turmoil and anxiety in Western countries resulting from this forced migration was not simply “the consequence of a civilization’s failure to overcome or accommodate the forces of modernity.”

The key to knowing what happened including the problem of Islamic terrorism is to first have an understanding of the participant’s specific socio-political character structures.
Leftist provocateurs in European countries inflamed a highly volatile situation by insulting Muslim immigrants and the Islamic way of life. In reaction to the threat from the left, Muslims responded in ways that are characteristic for people who are on the political right – viscerally. The intensity of this reaction depended on the degree to which Muslims were located to the right of the socio-political spectrum. The Conservative Muslims to the immediate right of center adjusted and lived quietly in segregated communities according to their ethnic ways. Further to the right, the reactionary Muslims were more anxious and disturbed by what they saw happening around them. Having found their place in the stricter ways of Islam, they struggled to rigidly maintain their traditional ways. Sensing the non-Muslim people as a threat to their way of life, they isolated themselves in an effort to fortify their defenses. Many responded with covert hatred toward Westerners. Their reactionary structure led them to passively or actively gravitate toward supporting Islamic extremists.

For the Islamic fascist on the extreme right, secular law of the Islamic State is inseparable from the religious Islamic law. The Islamic fascist’s feelings of hatred are intensified by the perception of Western social weakness and degeneration. According to their ideology, the Muslim World is in a state of perpetual war with infidels world-wide. As a first step in their grand scheme, the jihadists of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) which has been renamed “the Islamic State” want to consolidate their control of the Sunni part of Iraq. They are demanding that jihadist groups world-wide adopt (ISIS)’s hard line and join together in a global war against the infidels.

The ultimate goal of the Islamic Fascist is to destroy all democratic institutions and to unify the Muslim people under one caliphate headed by a political and religious leader who is the successor to Mohammed himself. If this caliphate were ever to become a reality, the lives of Muslim people would be under the total control of this Fascist leader.

On a global scale, the Islamic Fascist on the political extreme right in the Muslim world and the pseudo-liberal/communist on the extreme left in the Western world have as their common goal the destruction of human life. Both are emotional plague characters at the limits of the socio-political spectrum. Although they share the same goal they operate differently. Western leaders on the left sow their hatred based seeds of destruction covertly and act subversively. They debilitate America’s military power and passively undermine it’s stature as the leader of the free world. Their goal is to weaken America internally and, at the same time, to support totalitarian regimes hostile to America politically through diplomatic activity. Islamic Fascist leaders on the right are aggressive and impatient. Their impulsive actions are often detrimental to achieving their goal.

The following table summarizes the far-reaching cultural differences and the basis for the ideological clash between the Western and the Islamic worlds:
Western World Islamic World
Rigidly Anti-authoritarian Rigidly Authoritarian
Emancipation of Women Subjugation of Women
Mainstream to the far Left of Center Mainstream to the far right of Center
Sexual Unsatisfaction Sexual Repression
Welcomes Unrestraint Resists Change
Individual Glorified Over the State Islam Glorified over the Individual
Intellectual Armor Predominates Muscular Armor Predominates
Agrarian/industrial Economy Tribal/Agrarian Economy

Can ISIS Be Defeated?

Before Islamic Fascism in the form of ISIS can be eradicated one must first know how it originates. Armed with the knowledge of socio-political characterology, it is possible to understand how Islamic Fascist states can erupt seemingly out of nowhere and organize from their endemic form of the emotional plague in Muslim families to become a social epidemic.

The following social conditions are necessary:
1) The family life from which Islamic Fascism organizes must be strictly authoritarian and strongly sex-negative.
2) The government that is in power must be weak and vulnerable. Living conditions must be desperate with broken authoritarian families, human suffering, uncertain work opportunities and high levels of anxiety in the population.
3) There must be a strong longing for a better life in a large segment of the younger population that, because of the presence of armor, cannot be practically achieved. These social conditions are the breeding ground for high energy, sexually frustrated, wayward youth to turn their dissatisfaction outward and look for some higher social cause to fight. They are raw material ready to be indoctrinated by jihadist ideological fanatics many of whom have been educated in anti-authoritarian western society and are familiar with and react hatefully to what they see as it’s sexual depravity.
4) The unrestrained freedom of people living in the free world is emotionally intolerable and felt as a provocation to many young Muslims who are brought up under sexually repressive social conditions.
5) The charismatic Islamic Fascist leader is ready to provide the excitation and focus that these young men are anxiously looking for. The ideologue redirects the young people’s pent-up feelings of longing for a better life into murderous hatred of the chosen victim.

Without taking these factors into consideration, dealing with the problem of ISIS can only be a matter of symptom removal of eradicating individual Muslim terrorists not of addressing the underlying disease, the emotional plague of sexually frustrated Muslim youths.
