Identifying Muslim Terrorists Through Character Profiling

People can be easily fooled when a mass killing occurs because they typically focus exclusively on the killer’s superficial behavior. This is what happened recently when a Muslim in Tennessee went on a killing spree murdering four Marines. One classmate of the killer who was friendly with him said that he was shocked by the news and was filled with disbelief since the killer was socially outgoing and had lots of friends.
From a functional perspective, we know that there are all kinds of Muslims. On one end of the spectrum are those that have a live-and-let-live attitude. On the other are those who identify themselves as political Muslims and have their allegiance to Islam. The former group knows and respects the distinction between religious and secular law.
The latter group is too emotionally sick to take advantage of the opportunities that living in a free country such as America offers. Therefore, this group which, incidentally could include non-Arab Muslims, would rather go to a better, next world by doing Allah’s bidding. These personal feelings give rise to their political ideology, to identify the Muslim religion with the State and therefore that it is the responsibility of all true Muslims to expand and conquer the world by killing off all non-believers if necessary. The Islamic State or ISIS is an example of this type.
Much of the confusion about Muslims arises from ignorance of the different socio-political character types that apply to all people including Muslims. However, unlike other people, because of their strong family ties, their tribal roots and their strict authoritarian upbringing, most Arabs belong in varying degrees to the right of the sociopolitical spectrum. Beginning with the conservative Arab to the immediate right of center and moving rightward, there is the extreme conservative, followed by the reactionary and finally the fascist Arab: the Islamic fascist on the extreme right who stands for absolute authoritarianism.
By appearing to be a loyal American, the Islamic Fascist character can circulate freely in Western society and carry out his destructiveness in full view of everyone.
In order to identify these individuals, the application of socio-political characterology to human behavior is essential. People must be able to look into the emotional depths of these emotional plague characters in order to identify them. With the knowledge that is currently available, it is possible to have an accurate profile of these emotional plague characters before they have an opportunity to act destructively. This knowledge and how to use it is in my first book, The Emotional Plague, The Root of Human Evil.

A College Course in Socio-political Orgonomy

A course will be given to the public by the American College of Orgonomy on the new science of socio-political orgonomy. It will be coordinated by Dr. Edward Chastka and taught by the clinical associates of the College.
Its purpose is to introduce the general public to the sociological discoveries of Wilhelm Reich and Elsworth Baker. Reich’s discovery of the emotional plague and Baker’s discovery of socio-political characterology are the corner stones upon which the course is based. These discoveries are also the foundation of a true science of sociology. The course will focus of the application of this and other knowledge to current social phenomena to provide a clear picture of the events that are currently happening in the world.
The text for the course is Neither Left Nor Right: Preventing America’s Decline into Socialism. The chapters in the book are the subject matter for the course They guide the student in his thinking to move from general sociological ideas and principles to specific social and political problems and issues. In this process the student will be introduced to a new way of thinking called functional thinking. This allows the student to step outside of mechanistic-mystical thinking of the political left and right.
The course will provide the student with a tool of thinking that, if applied by a sufficient number of people, has the potential to oppose and correct the process of social degradation in the world.

Understanding The Function of Terrorists and Terrorism

America is in a state of undeclared war with Islamo-fascist fanatics in the Middle East. The war is being waged on two fronts, militarily and ideologically. To understand the ideological war, it is necessary to have knowledge of socio-political characterology and of the emotional plague. Terrorists are Islamo-fascists belonging to the extreme right of the socio-political spectrum. The zealous fascist with his mystical reactionary belief system represents the ultimate in destructive rebelliousness. Terrorism is a manifestation of the emotional plague and it functions by paralyzing and immobilizing its victims through a frightening demeanor, terrifying threats and horrific acts of terror.
Those who are most terrified and likely to be terrorized are the liberal and other leftist characters in the Free World who, because of their pre-existing characterologically-based fear of forceful aggression, will use their rational powers to justify doing nothing and remaining helplessly immobilized at this critical time.
They are behaving in the exact same manner today as they did in England in the 1930s when Hitler was doing the same thing in Europe.

Chastising Obama Is Not The Answer

In the August 2-3 2014 issue of the Wall Street Journal “Out of Many, Two?,” Peggy Noonan writes: “The president shouldn’t be using a fateful and divisive word like “impeachment” to raise money and rouse his base. He shouldn’t be at campaign-type rallies where he speaks only to his base, he should be speaking to the country. He shouldn’t be out there dropping his g’s. slouching around a podium. complaining about his ill treatment, describing his opposition with disdain: Stop just hat’in all the time.”

But what if this is exactly how Obama feels and what he wants to do? The thought is too horrible and unbelievable for most people even to imagine. The question goes directly to Obama’s socio-political character structure, without an understanding of which, nothing can make sense. Noonan does not see the significance of the contempt toward America in Obama’s behavior. She does not see that she is hated by Obama and the entire anti-authoritarian mainstream exactly because she is associated with the past authoritarian social order. Reasoning with them is not possible because it does not stop the hate. It intensifies the divisiveness and is a political dead end.

Are All Arabs The Same?

There is currently widespread confusion regarding how Arabs are to be viewed. The simple answer is that there are two kinds of Arabs, those that have a live and let live attitude and those who identify themselves as political Muslims and have their allegiance to Islam. The former group knows the distinction between religion and the state. The latter group identifies the Muslim religion with the state and believes that it must expand and conquer the world by killing all nonbelievers if necessary.

The question brings up the importance of understanding socio-political characterology without which it is not possible to make any sense of what is happening with Arabs in the Middle East and in America. Because of their strong tribal roots and their strict authoritarian upbringing, most Arabs belong in varying degrees on the right of the socio-political spectrum. Beginning with the conservative Arab to the immediate right of center, there is the extreme conservative followed by the reactionary and finally the Islamo-fascist on the extreme right.

As we proceed from the right of center to the extreme right, the Arab’s social functioning becomes rigidified and cut off from all contact with corrupting Western influences. The separation between secular and religious law becomes increasingly blurred and the individual’s work and sexual functioning becomes more restricted. His ability to assimilate into Western ways becomes more difficult as his need to have Allah be responsible for his life reveals his underlying emotional and economic helplessness. The Islamo-fascist who says ” I love death more than life” is his way of expressing his total emotional intolerance of the freedom that there is to be had in Western democratic societies.  Seeing it as degenerate, he is sympathetic to other Arabs who want to destroy it. For him, secular ideology and religious moral law are one and the same.

The Islamo-fascist is an emotional plague character on the political extreme right. Here are some of the favorite slogans used by these ideologues to disarm America: “Islam has always been a part of America,” “Islam is not part of the problem  in combating extremism – it is an important part in promoting peace,” “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.” These statements are effective because they all have a grain of truth in them and that is all it takes for liberal-minded Americans to give them the benefit of doubt.

However, the Islamo-fascist has no contact with his biological core. Cut off from his natural sexual feelings, he operates entirely from his secondary destructive layer and his ideology originates from it. The following are some examples: “All people are born Muslim and start off as pure but they become corrupted by living in a world of infidels. It is the duty of all good Muslims to bring them back to the ways of the Prophet.” “The world including most Muslim societies are in a state of racial impurity and it is our holy duty to cleanse it.”

According to Reich, “The ideology …of purity is the ideology of asexuality, of ‘sexual purity.’  it is, basically, a result of patriarchal authoritarian sexual suppression and sexual anxiety… the core of fascist race theory is a mortal terror of natural sexuality and its orgasm function.”

We can add that, in the case of Islamic race ideology and in contrast to the purity of Muslims, infidels including all Westerners are equated with racially impure, unchaste people.  Reich continues: “With the development of distorted, lascivious, sexual structures, patriarchal man became enmeshed in an ideology in which ‘sexual’ becomes inextricably associated with ‘filthy,’ ‘low,’demoniacal’.”

As the level of  emotional zeal of Islamists becomes more revolutionary, their ideology becomes more reactionary. There is a new wave of extremists who believe that a pure State of Islam must be instituted not gradually through social consensus but swiftly by military force. With the social turmoil in the Middle East there is a flood of sexually frustrated, displaced and disillusioned youth who are ready and willing to embrace Allah’s cause.

The American people’s general state of complacency and confusion regarding Arabs is exacerbated because the political mainstream is far to  the left of center. Liberals and other political leftists are strongly defended against perceiving their own destructive secondary layer. Therefore, for them, evil does not exist in others even when it is staring them in the face.

Putin’s Socio-political Character Structure

A person’s political character structure is a primary determinant of social events. Therefore, it is necessary  to have an understanding of political characterology which is the study of social and political behavior from the perspective of the individual’s socio-political character structure.

Even as America is sliding further to the left and turning into a socialist state and the Soviet Union no longer exists, the emotional plague in Russian politics continues to fester, reorganize and gather momentum. The emotional plague in Russia is now operating from the political far right under the leadership of Vladimir Putin. An ex-KGB officer and a rigid authoritarian, from a characterological standpoint Putin is an example of a reactionary politician belonging on the political right.

The reactionary character resists change. Sexually, he is very moralistic and restricted which is the basis for his sadism and mysticism. His mystical beliefs are rigidly held and are not subject to reason or proof.

As a politician, Putin has the mystical belief that Russian Society should be resurrected to it’s pre-Soviet “glory.” He has a great deal of brutality in his structure that is frequently overtly expressed or thinly disguised, and always rationalized and justified as necessary. Coupled with his brutality is his reputation for graciousness and hospitality – a reaction formation. Unlike the communist on the extreme left, Putin is governed not by his intellect alone but by his emotions that are rigidly contained in his muscular armor. This is particularly noticeable in the posterior muscles of his neck – He is “stiff-necked.” He does not set himself against religion but emotionally and politically aligns himself with the great Russian Orthodox Church which he attends regularly.

Putin is a militant nationalist, righteous in his political beliefs and intensely resentful of outside political interference in Russian ways of  life. He is adept at providing rationalizations for justifying his aggressively expansionist impulses toward other countries and assumes that these sentiments are shared by the Russian people. His reasons for the annexation of Crimea, for example, were justified by his appeal to Russian nationalistic feelings and by trumped up grievances against that country.

However, Putin’s decision to annex Crimea was not based on mystical feelings alone. As an aggressive plague character on the right, he is excited by the fear of aggression and the fecklessness that he perceives in his opponents led by the President of The United States and he knows that he will get away with the seizure without firing a shot.

Putin’s Land Grab

Whenever an acute  social problem surfaces requiring immediate attention people always focus on the symptoms, never on the underlying disease.  Putin’s grabbing Crimea is a symptom. The underlying emotional  sickness of human beings that made this act of aggression possible is the disease that is always overlooked.

The following, in brief, is the symptom: As a result of it’s anti-authoritarian transformation, Western countries including Russia are socially disintegrating. Faced with this problem, a strong leader like Putin moves to the political right to take control of the social chaos in his country. He also quickly sizes up Barack Obama the leader of the Western World as a weak and politically ineffectual individual. To further consolidate his power, he decides to take an aggressive international action and seizes Crimea.

Part of the underlying disease is the social disintegration of Russian Society that needs to be controlled. Another part is that the same process of social disintegration to a far greater extent is happening in America. However, America’s social sickness is aggravated by having elected a President who has proven himself to be unable to take an aggressive stand to protect America’s interests in any area, either domestically and internationally.

The deepest level of humanity’s disease is that the American public does not see that they have elected a man who is to a large extent responsible for bringing about this international crisis and the destructive consequences that will follow. The American public’s cluelessness is the central problem.

The Rise In People’s Cluelessness

Around 1960, a fundamental transformation in Western Society took place from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian. With the transformation, there was a change in the pattern of armor in young people. Ocular armor largely replaced muscular armor and this had destructive personal and social consequences. Emotional energy was no longer able to be bound and held back in muscular armor. As a result of the weakening of muscular armor and the increase in ocular armor, destructive emotions were expressed through intellectualized rationalizations, hatred and contempt of authority. Blame and resentment were directed at traditional authority figures in all areas of society.
Young people became more irrational and out of touch with themselves and with the world. They became more contactless. The word clueless that is in common usage today accurately describes this mental state.
Accompanying the anti-authoritarian transformation, there appeared for the first time a syndrome of symptoms in children characterized by disturbances in focusing, restlessness and hyperactivity. This condition was called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Today, the number of young American adults taking medication for ADHD has nearly doubled from 2008 to 20012. One in ten adolescent boys were taking a drug for the disorder.
Today’s adult population represents the children of the baby boomers that were growing up in the 60’s. From a bio-psychiatric perspective, a primary manifestation of the disorder that first appeared at that time, ADHD, are a result of ocular pathology. It is possible to treat this disorder without the use of medication by a qualified therapist.

What’s Wrong With The Teenage Mind?

In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal (Jan. 28-29, 2012) entitled, What’s Wrong With The Teenage Mind?, professor of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, Alison Gopnik ascribes much of the troubles modern teenagers have in coping with the world to the teenager’s brain. Ms. Gopnik attempts to understand teenage behavior by way of localized pathways in the brain such as “reward centers” and ” control systems” that underlie certain behavioral functions.

That the brain is involved with the teenager’s behavior or that the interaction between the teenager with the environment is important in the kind of behavior that is exhibited goes without saying. These statements about the brain are insufficient to explain the erratic, dysfunctional behavior of many teenagers today.

What is left unsaid is the effect that the dramatic changes that have occurred with the transformation of Western society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian and the mechanistic-mystical world view that accompanies it has had on the lives of everyone, including and especially teenagers.  The breakup of the past authoritarian social order and its underpinning, the authoritarian family based on sexual repression, has been replaced by a social order that is even more inimical to life than its predecessor.  To make matters worse, all that was painstakingly gained in psychiatry in the past, including the knowledge of human psycho-sexual development (the disturbances in which account for much of what is troubling teenagers today) has been completely thrown out in the practice of psychiatry.

In fact, the practice of psychiatry today has regressed to where it was over 100 years ago when the subjective workings of the mind was equated in a one-to-one fashion with the objective operation of  localized brain functions.  Modern psychiatry is as far away from understanding the problems of teenagers as it was then.  Meanwhile, thanks to our anti-authoritarian social order, the level of social pathology manifested by everyone including teenagers has escalated to a far greater extent compared to where it was then.  These social developments can only be understood as a direct manifestation of higher levels of emotional plague activity in today’s world.

The Problem With Today’s Psychiatric Therapies

At the root of the problem with all psychiatric therapies is the lack of a functional understanding of a whole series of interrelated, unanswered fundamental questions starting with what constitutes emotional health and sickness?   From this question, the following questions logically arise: What are emotions?  What is an emotional disturbance?  How can emotional disturbances be classified scientifically to provide a rational system of diagnosis and treatment?   Without satisfactorily answering all of these questions it is not possible to arrive at a rational, causal method of psychiatric therapy.

Unfortunately, these questions cannot be adequately answered because people’s armored condition prevents them from thinking functionally.  Instead, today’s approach to psychiatric therapies falls into two general categories, mechanistic or symptom-based treatment and mystical or “holistic” treatment.   Symptom-based approaches to diagnosis, and treatments such as drug therapy and behavior therapy are superficial and of limited value.  From an etiological point of view, any symptom can appear in any diagnostic category.  The holistic approach does away with the problem of symptoms by focusing on the patient’s “wellness” and the “whole patient” but it evades the problem of diagnosis altogether.

From a functional view, the clinical significance of any symptom is the function that it serves in relation to the individual’s particular character diagnosis.  Therefore, understanding the patient’s character structure comes before the significance of the symptom can be understood.  This is why it is not possible to correctly treat a psychiatric disorder from a curative point of view without first having established an accurate diagnosis.

Rather than deriving their clinical thinking from their clinical observations, armored therapists force their observations to fit into their preconceived mechanistic-mystical ways of thinking, thereby doing a grave disservice to their patients as well as bringing about the destruction of a once highly respected profession.
