The Clueless Masses on the American Left and the Far-left Political Ideologues

Apropos the relationship of attractive opposition of the clueless masses in America to far-left political ideologues who are openly and honestly telling people that they will turn this nation into a Soviet style socialist state ( the “big lie”), here is what the political genius, Adolph Hitler, wrote in Mein Kampf,

“… In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than to the small lie, since they often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large scale falsehoods. It would never come to their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others would have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously” (italics added).

Hitler, a paranoid, psychopathic genius, fully understood and took advantage of people’s credulousness (cluelessness) resulting from their armored condition and was able to get through to their destructive secondary layer. From the way social conditions are declining, it is safe to conclude that absolutely nothing has been learned from Hitler’s “honesty” or even from recent past history to prevent future social calamities from happening.

  1. Thank you, Dr. Konia, that’s a, perfect analysis.

I only once in my life met a real emotional plague character, naturally a psychopath, it took me a long time to realize and analyse, why people believe his lies, it was unbelievable irrational, on the surface he was always playing the angel of light, the “good and honest” one, even though it was so obvious, that he is lying.
The basis of all his behavior was a big lie in the depth, in this case that he did not even belong to university at all.
At this time I thought, after reading Reich’s character analysis again, that in this way the dynamic must have been working in the Nazitime.

Hitler was objectively not very intelligent, neither the emotional plague character I met was, it is frightening, how Hitler perceived and misused instinctively the biology of the masses.
Wilhelm Reich was absolutely right, when he wrote, that a human being is a biological being, with natural instincts, like an animal.

  2. I would like to add to my comment above, the feeling that I want to share, that in my perception you could call Adolf Hitler a biological liar in the depth, like the emotional plague character I once met.

  3. Hitler was a biological liar in the depth and a (sexual-emotional) seducer.

  4. Adolf (!) Hitler was in no way „honest“. In his crazed paranoia, inspired by Henry Ford and the The Protocols of the Elders of Zion fabrication, he wrote about the alleged tactics of the “synagogue of Satan”, the church of “the father of lies”, i.e., about the evil Jooooos. Here the full quote from MEIN KAMPF (the German of the original is really terrible and simply unreadable!):

But it remained for the Jews, with their unqualified capacity for falsehood, and their fighting comrades, the Marxists, to impute responsibility for the downfall [of Germany at the end of 1918] precisely to the man who alone had shown a superhuman will and energy in his effort to prevent the catastrophe which he had foreseen and to save the nation from that hour of complete overthrow and shame. By placing responsibility for the loss of the world war on the shoulders of [General] Ludendorff [at the end of WWI de facto dictator of Germany] they took away the weapon of moral right from the only adversary dangerous enough to be likely to succeed in bringing the betrayers of the Fatherland to Justice.
All this was inspired by the principle – which is quite true within itself – that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

In terms of today Hitler was alluding to the rules of Saul Alinsky.

    • Thank you.

  5. As always, thanks much Dr Konia for you’re astute sociopolitical insights. However, unless they’re seen by a wider audience,I fear our descent into the disaster that is socialism will continue unabated. The key to reversing this decline is for the population at large to have a clearer understanding of just what is the emotional plague & its terribly destructive nature. Unfortunately, despite your excellent book on the subject, I dont really see anyone out there in the social-political scene that has a real understanding of it. Conservatives seem to have an inkling of its functioning, but not enough of a grasp of the plague to truly combat it. As our president is wont to tweet: Sad.

  6. Dr. Konia: Thank you once again for a brilliant post.
Alexander: Your comments were also brilliant, and your description of your encounter with a plague character is moving.
Peter: Sorry to totally wear out the word, “brilliant“, but as usual, you find brilliant things to say that, although they may in some ways appear to be contrarian and in opposition to other things that are being said, in fact are complementary; like a paired variation responding to the same CFP!
I think everyone here has a piece of the truth, and it’s great to see such a vital dialogue. I appreciate you all for it.

Elliott: Actually, I think Trump has an instinctual grasp of the emotional plague, although granted, not necessarily a consciously articulated one. For example, when he refers to “fake news“, he is referring to the plague. Also, all-out assault on political correctness is, I believe, a manifestation of hus fight against the plague and has a lot to do with why he was elected.

There is something very simple about Trump. He’s crude, he has no class. But in some ways that makes him the right man at the right time, because his opponents are superficial and smooth; they appear “classy“ and they claim to be classy, but in fact it is only the superficial façade of classiness, which serves in this case to hide the tremendous, overwhelming, sadistic destructiveness of their secondary layer. Trump’s willingness to be crude and “classless“ becomes a vehicle for telling the simple truth about things in a painfully blunt and direct way. I believe that this is how he has managed to succeed. I would also say that in spite of superficial appearances and assumptions and suspicions, it turns out that Trump is probably a far more decent man than we have been led to believe or have assumed; although certainly he is not perfect. One thing that begin to clue me into the fact that he apparently possesses a good deal of health is that during the campaign, I went on YouTube and looked at old videos of interviews with him and with his children. I saw from these interviews that his children apparently greatly admire and respect him and basically want to be like him! To me, that spoke volumes.

  7. Just to add: Peter, I think that the sense in which Hitler was honest is the sense in which Dr. Konia describes: like the far left Democrats, he pretty much told everyone what he was going to do.

  8. First of all, thank you, Dr. Holbrook, for your kind words!

In THE MASSPSYCHOLOGY FASCISM Reich called Hitler „der Generalpsychopath“, which is almost impossible to translate into good English. Like there is a “solicitor general”, Hitler was the “psychopath general”. Maybe “chief psychopath”. In this capacity he tore apart politics as usual:

    1) He did things all the Christian and socialist politicians where incapable of because of their neurotic inhibition, for example the unification of Germany and Austria and the removal of the Treaty of Versailles. About the later a still Socialist oriented Reich wrote in 1939:

Is it possible to advocate bourgeois democracy against the fascist high tide? Supposing we could say what we really feel. Then should one plead for the “democracies” after the “Munich peace”? But that is impossible! First of all, Hitler has the courage which the democratic leaders lack. Secondly—he has (in the frame of political corruption which has dominated in Europe since the days of Versailles) achieved a task of vital importance for German society: He has annulled the Versailles Treaty. Those who preceded him wished for the same thing, the Communists, the Social Democrats and all the others. They failed. Hitler succeeded. Should one reproach him for this? No!

    2) By his “psychopathic” politics Hitler exposed the very nature of irrational politics. By telling the “truth” (e.g., the audacity that countries like Great Britain accused Mussolini Italy of colonialism in Abyssinia!) he exposed THE LIE of politics, per se. Reich continues the quote above as follows:

It was the democrats who proclaimed the right of self-determination. That fascism uncompromisingly employs democratic slogans where they are useful for its purposes, but does not grant the right of self-determination in its own sphere, is another matter—which again can only be understood through the whole frame of the political betrayal, in which the events of the world take place.

The emotional plague is not that Hitler simply “lied”, the emotional plague is that Hitler told the “truth” – in order to LIE and in order to commit the ultimate betrayal. He was cynic Modju.

One man and his followers in the Democratic Party comes to mind: SAUL ALINSKY.

    • Peter: All very well stated and interesting!

    • In books like BEYOND PSYCHOLOGY, MURDER OF CHRIST, and the most recent issue of the journal ORGONOMIC FUNCTIONALISM (published by the WR museum) Reich pointed out again and again hat Hitler told remarkable truths about the Jews, the Weimar Republic and the Western Democracies, the upper class, capitalism, the “free press”, etc. The problem with Hitler was not that he told lies (he did, like any other politician) but that he told the TRUTH about others and gained, thus, the admiration of the German people. It was as if he described the emotional plague – and the people loved him for that! The point is that his, and the other criminals’ around him, ACTIONS were exactly that: emotional plague worse than mankind ever experienced before. The sheer anarchy, the corruption, the Machiavellian manipulation, the annihilation of any self-determination, the depravity of the “Third Reich” is way beyond imagination. This was THE BIG LIE.

The same holds true for the American left. America has all kinds of problems and it is the very function of the left to point them out mercilessly. But the “solutions” they offer will bring even more injustice, hardship, and despair and will destroy the best hope mankind still has, for good. They promise a Scandinavian-like paradise, pointing out how bad America fares in comparison to Socialist Scandinavia – but in the end all of America will be one big “Baltimore” with all resources to fix anything gone forever.

      • I hate to keep using the same word because somehow it sounds superficial to do so, but: brilliant!

      • Apropos the Scandinavian paradiese:

      • Not bland!

      • Peter: Again, very interesting and well articulated, thanks!

  9. Regarding Adolf Hitler, I was thinking of orgastic impotence today.

People often find their impotence as an expression of potence, which is quite irrational, so it was also with Hitler.

Nowadays for example, the big car, the big house, or the filled, bank account, without having any contact to deep emotions, is an expression of impotence, but such people feeling irrational potent.
Or just “analysing” everyday the whole world with useless laymen “character analysis”, without any emotional deep contact, just from the brain, which is an expression of pure impotence.

You can smell the orgastic impotence behind its expressions on the, surface almost with all your body senses.

Thus orgastic impotence was the problem of the masses, so there were susceptible to Hitler’s emotional manipulations, and seduction.

The problem of the masses are still the same, Dr. Konia is absolutely right, nothing has been learned also in Germany in the emotional depth from the Nazitime, denacification has been taken place only on the surface.

Orgastic potence is the ability to be fully sensitive and to feel the whole range of emotions bodily, it can be very sensitive, very tender but also move to an emotional storm, it is life, aliveness.

It has nothing to do with “Pornographie potency” at all.

So in my perception Nazi Germany was somehow a pornographic state.

    • Alexander: makes sense.

      • Thank you, Dr. Holbrook, I know, that it makes sense 🙂
