What Is Most Difficult To See

The hardest thing for people to see is what is happening right in front of their eyes.  Because people’s way of seeing and thinking is distorted by armor, they often cannot see social processes for what they really are.  As an example of people’s psychic blindness, consider  their inability to recognize the  transformation of the order of Western society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian that began around 1960 and is now threatening to obliterate Western society as we have known it.  People cannot see the totality of this historic cataclysm and the resultant destructive social and economic effect that it continues to have on everyone’s life.   At most, people are able to recognize  what is happening in bits and pieces focusing on this or that particular manifestation of a social decline.  The majority are completely oblivious of the fact that anything unusual is going on. Moreover, those who  recognize that something destructive is happening think about the transformation strictly from within the context of the social facade.  They do not understand that from a functional perspective a social upheaval is erupting on the social surface but that it’s origins are from the depths of the bio-psychic structure of armored humans, from their destructive middle layer and from their biological core.

Unable to recognize why and how a fundamental transformation in social life is taking place leaves everyone completely helpless to do anything genuinely constructive.  It can be predicted with absolute certainty that unless the dynamic bio-social forces underlying the transformation are understood and addressed, social, economic and political  conditions will continue to deteriorate.  The first step to address it would be to recognize that a social transformation of fundamental proportions is, in fact, taking place.

  1. It is extremely difficult for anyone to be attracted to and have an interest in further exploring your powerful and accurate statement “It can be predicted with absolute certainty that unless the dynamic bio-social forces underlying the transformation are understood and addressed, social, economic and political conditions will continue to deteriorate” unless they:

    1) Are familiar with and understand the work being done at the ACO
    2) Have the desire and time required to re-learn from a rational and functional perspective “the way the world works” (i.e. humans, human social functioning, nature, etc)
    3) Have the courage, desire and circumstance to have looked honestly at how they function (“look in the mirror”), choose to recognize and do something about their problems and finally be lucky enough to find a qualified medical orgonomist to help them

I realize that there may be a few exceptions to what I have written (but I seriously doubt that there are many)

I hear well meaning, somewhat rational people comment on and write columns and books about the problematic topics of the day (i.e. fiscal responsibility for the government, debt reduction, keeping America safe, etc). In spite of their intelligence and good intentions, they are missing vital and indispensible knowledge. They do not know of the existence of the pseudo-liberal character.

Until more people of substance and influence can learn about and understand the pseudo-liberal’s role in 20th and 21st century American life, I don’t think that much progress can be made in helping people “see the forest for the trees” in politics. In this case, two of the trees can be seen (the conservative and liberal, but the other “unidentified” important tree, the pseudo-liberal, to date has only been identified in your book and by you).

The identification of the pseudo-liberal character in American political life and society may one day give some hope to the possibility that a significant number of people can begin “to recognize that a social transformation of fundamental proportions is, in fact, taking place” with all of its destructive implications and consequences.

    • Thank you for your valuable addition to my blog. You hit the nail on the head.

      • Thanks for the kind words and I always look forward to your views on current events

  2. I’m still not clear on the terms “authoritarian” and “anti-authoritarian,” even after looking them up. Could you please give an example of a particular situation or event handled in an authoritarian way, an anti-authoritarian way, and a way indicative of natural authority?

    • Consider the following situations. Parents and a six year old child are seated in a restaurant.

Situation one. The child is sitting quietly and is emotionally engaged with the parents.

Situation two. The child begins to whine and cry creating a disturbance to the others in the restaurant. The parents are oblivious to what is happening and ignore the child who continues to be disturbing to the other people. The parents continue to do nothing.

Situation three. As soon as the child starts acting up, the parents respond to the child’s disruptive behavior. When the child continues being disrespectful, a parent takes the child out of the restaurant.

      I hope this helps.

      • I’m still not understanding. So it’s the child who is being anti-authoritarian by acting up? And the parent is being authoritarian to take them outside?

      • In the first case, the parents and the child are in contact with each other and with the restaurant social situation. The parents are exercising their natural parental authority.

In the second case, the parents and the child are not in sufficient contact with each other or with the restaurant social situation. The parents are not exercising any authority whatsoever. They are functioning in an anti-authoritarian manner.

In the third case,. the parents and the child are not in sufficient contact with each other but the parents are in contact with being in a social situation where the child’s behavior may be annoying to other diners, The parent removes the child from other people so as not to create a disturbance to them. The parent is functioning in an authoritarian manner by exercising parental authority.

      • Thank you! Now I understand. You’ve taken a big concept and put it into a very understandable example. Thank you for taking the time to explain.
