Environmentalism: The Mystical Collusion Between the Left and the Right

The following is an excerpt from my upcoming book, Clueless:
The emotional plague is a malignant social disease that is highly invasive from person to person and from one social institution to another. Because of the massive shift to the left in people’s thinking not only in the West but worldwide, religious mysticism in the masses – people’s faith in a better afterlife – has been replaced by secular mysticism – people’s longing for a better life in the present, in the here and now. This mystical need on the part of armored human beings gives freedom-peddling ideologists on the left an enormous political advantage.

Religious mystics on the political right, see the handwriting on the wall and realize that if they do not embrace some of the popular political ideas promoted by leftist ideologues soon, they will be left without a power base, their congregation.

In addition to being sympathetic to the world’s poor, an ideologically painless way that religious mystics on the right can become involved in secular matters is by going along with leftists on their political stand on the environment.

The Catholic Church would usually condemn blatant politicization of theological documents such as Pope Francis’ encyclical on May 24, 2015, Laudato si.’ But this time it did not. In his encyclical, he critiques people’s relentless destruction of the environment for which he blamed apathy, reckless pursuit of profit, excessive faith in technology and political shortsightedness. He unambiguously accepts the purportedly scientific consensus that climate change is largely man-made and warns of unprecedented destruction of ecosystems if climate change mitigation efforts are not taken mainly by reducing fossil fuel emissions.

Then, when President Obama announced new Clean Power Plant regulations “to help mitigate climate change” on August 3, some 170 evangelists, pastors, religion professors, non-profit directors and others, sent an open letter to the president “to offer our support and encouragement for your efforts to overcome the climate change.” President Obama responded in true faith healer style: “As Pope Francis made clear in his encyclical last summer, taking a stand against climate change is a moral obligation.”

From “Political Science” To A Science Of Politics

Politics today consists of a confused mixture of irrational and rational human ideas and drives.  This hodgepodge is erroneously called ” political science.”   However, it is now possible with our political knowledge of orgonomic sociology to have a genuine science of politics.  There are two requirements that must be fulfilled for this to happen: 1) A capacity to think functionally about natural, including political, processes. 2) An in-depth knowledge of socio-political characterology including an understanding of the emotional plague of mankind and the effect that people’s various socio-political character types have on social processes. These requirements are necessary to separate the rational function of politics from the irrationality and the widespread destructiveness of socio-politics.

The Cult Of Saul Alinsky

In order to successfully oppose the emotional plague’s social destructiveness, one must first  have a clear understanding of its mode of operation. The cult of Saul Alinsky is a perfect example of the manifestation of the organized emotional plague from the extreme left (communist) end of the socio-political spectrum.  Populated by many noted Alinsky disciples such as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, its function is to fundamentally transform the United States of America into a socialist state.

Its first step is to penetrate  the mainstream of American life by establishing common ground with financially influential individuals and institutions and pretending to have an ideological affinity with them.  By securing a financial base, this step indicates that the plague’s infection has succeeded in taking hold of American society and is in a position to infiltrate and destroy its victim from within.

The second step is to camouflage its facade so as to appear to have the best of all intentions, a benign organization with a benevolent purpose.  No longer are they communist political activists looking to “expropriate the expropriators.”  Now, they are “community organizers” who champion “social justice for the poor and powerless masses.”  Social justice means equalizing wealth by taking from those who have more and giving it to “the disadvantaged.” Nothing is mentioned about the the work disturbance of poor people that prevents them from taking advantage of the enormous opportunities to work in America. The most basic principle of Alinsky’s advice to radicals is to lie to their opponents and disarm them by pretending to be moderates and genuine liberals.

Now, plague individuals are in a position to carry out the third and final step of their destructive operation.  This step was perfected by Alinsky when he was associated as a “mascot” with the Chicago mob where he learned their methods of extortion and intimidation in their day-to-day criminal operations.  These methods, which clearly originated from the secondary destructive layer of criminals, were cleverly applied by Alinsky to his operations as a community organizer all within the existing legal system. (The Occupy Wall Street movement is a current example of how these methods are being played out.)

President Obama was an adept practitioner with a long history of familiarity with Alinsky’s methods.  For several years Obama taught workshops on the Alinsky method.  In 1986, he was hired by the Alinsky team to organize residents on Chicago’s South Side.  His mode of operation as president closely resembles Alinsky’s and this is why liberals have to minimize Obama’s affinity for Alinsky in the upcoming presidential election.

The Green Movement Is An Infestation Of The Emotional Plague

Why do some scientists assert that elevation of atmospheric carbon dioxide  due to human fossil fuel consumption is related to an elevation in atmospheric temperature when there is little objective evidence that shows this correlation? Why do leftist political ideologues promote alternate energy sources to fossil fuels that are less energy efficient and therefore economically more expensive and less realistic?   Since there is little factual evidence that supports their statements, they must be holding on to them because they are being used to promote a preexisting belief system, a personal agenda.  This way of distorting the truth is a typical characteristic of the emotional plague.

A plague reaction always has a good reason justifying it, a reason that no one in their right mind could disagree with.  In the case of the Green Movement, this alleged reason is the importance of replacing fossil fuels with a more beneficial, environmentally cleaner source of energy.  The true underlying reason for the Movement, however, is a political one, to shift control of the government from the private sector to the public sector, to give more power to the Federal Government over the people and, at the same time, to undermine America’s role as a world leader.  What is ignored in the alleged reason is the fact that, at this time there is no better, efficient and safer source of energy than fossil fuels and that when such a source becomes available the free market, not the Federal Government, is in a better position to effectively harness it for the American public.

Every life-positive impulse from the biological core as it moves to the surface is met by the human armor contained in the secondary, destructive layer where it turns into a life-negative force.  The Green Movement started as a natural movement to improve the human impact on the environment.  When it encountered people’s armor it turned into a life inimical political movement.  This is the fate of all political movements.

Is there a deep-rooted need in humans, especially males, to be violent?

There is no deep-rooted, intrinsic need in humans, male or female, to be violent. The origin of violent behavior is found in early infantile and childhood development when natural emotional needs, which are benign and non-destructive, are not met and are instead chronically frustrated and thwarted by people in the environment, especially the parents. The reaching out, the emotions of the infant and child, turn into rage which manifests as disordered behavior and violence. Although the form of violence is often different in men and women, the violence of males is typically physical whereas the violence of females is typically emotional, the destructive effect is the same.

Children whose emotional needs are met during their development, from birth through adolescence, will not become violence-prone no matter how much violence they are exposed to. Conversely, children whose emotional needs are frustrated during their development will always be prone to destructive behavior in one form or another, even if they have never been exposed to violent scenes in the media. Their destructive behavior will be passed on to their own offspring through the same kind of emotional abuse that was visited upon them. This is how human destructiveness perpetuates itself from generation to generation.

This material is discussed in detail in my book The Emotional Plague: The Root of Human Evil.

Why is America increasingly hated?

Increasing hatred of America coincided with the transformation of society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian, which occurred during the late 1950s and 1960s. This transformation was intensified by the so- called “sexual revolution” when the younger generation, biophysically unprepared for a truly healthy sexual life, demanded greater sexual freedom.

American pseudo-liberals quickly took advantage of this highly volatile social situation by identifying their leftist political agenda (based on their hatred of authority) with the sexual longing of young people. This politicized the movement, thereby turning it into an organized form of the emotional plague. The younger generation’s frustration and anger was directed toward authoritarian figures in America, who were perceived as being opposed to their sexual demands. Everyone in authority in the social mainstream (all law enforcement, college professors, leaders in business and the military) was viewed with hostility and suspicion, and with this there was a shift of the political center to the left. As a result, many people in government who had been considered liberal-minded in the past were labeled as “conservative” or “right-wing extremists.”

With the fall of the Soviet Union, America became the only super power. Since power is equated with the hated authority figure in the minds of the easily-influenced masses, fueled by the liberal media and entertainment industry, America easily became the targeted object of their hatred. This hatred of America by Americans has infected many countries in the free world, particularly in Western Europe.
